Adults refer to animals or humans that have reached their full development. If used in conjunction with humans, the term "adult" can have meanings that are connected to social or legal ideas. As opposed to "minor" (or "non-adult" legally-aged adult is an individual who has achieved an age at which they are majority. They are regarded as to be responsible, independent and competent. Sometimes referred to as "majors", they can also be thought to have reached the age of adulthood. 18 is the typical minimum age to become an adult however, this can be different depending on your country and status in law, and also the maturity of the mind.

Physical maturation has been completed when we enter our early adulthood (20-40s) but the weight and height may rise a bit. As we enter our early adulthood our physical capabilities are at their highest such as muscle strength, reaction time as well as sensory capabilities, cardiac functioning.
